Description of the technology
The milling cutter with compensatory blades is a tool for rough machining of materials. Therefore it can be used for all types of machined materials, including composites. The milling cutter is unique its shape, which is given by the opposite direction of the helical line compared to standard milling cutters, and the recesses making additional cutting edges on the milling cutter blades. Opposite direction of the helical line convert the tension in the cutting edge – instead of traditional tearing, which often causes breakage of the cutting edge is now cutting edge pressed to the machined material and therefore the cutting edge has higher resistance. Recesses allows shaving breaking and cooling of the tool.
The milling cutter has more design options – see picture below. Currently the milling cutter is produced and tested on a number of technical materials.
