In the domain of research and industrial cooperation, major fields of experience include aircraft design, aerodynamics, flight mechanics, strength of aircraft structures, safety and reliability analyses of aircraft systems, composite structures and different aspects connected to air transportation safety, management and economics. IAE has also long successful tradition in testing of airplanes and their parts (using its CAA certified testing lab).
