The department provides teaching in the following subjects: Modern Numerical Methods, Matrices and Tensor Number, Differential Equations and their Use in Electrical Engineering, Coding in Informatics, Random Processes, Probability, Statistics and Operational Research.

The department provides the teaching of foreign languages, with English being the main language offered. Nonetheless, we also offer courses in Russian, German and Spanish.

The department offers the private sector services in particular in the fields of nondestructive testing, the development of diagnostic methods and designing reliability indicators for materials and electronic components.

In our department we are able to prepare well-qualified experts, who can work on every field of electrical power engineering in different positions from common company engineers to nuclear plant operators. 

Department of Biomedical Engineering (the Department) is oriented to interdisciplinary analysis of biomedical signals and images, biomedical electronics, bioinformatics, technology in medicine, genomics and proteomics, and environmentalism.

The department is engaged in automation and measuring technology, cybernetics and informatics. The department also specializes in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence, as well assystematic and biomedical engineering.
