Materials Research Centre: Inorganic materials

Our aim is the research and development in the field of inorganic binders, glass, ceramics, metals and corrosion

Materials Research Centre offers opportunities for cooperation in many areas of engineering materials such as standard and special binders, technical, engineering and refractory ceramics, composite materials, metals, alloys and their corrosion. These materials are tested, developed or their properties are intentionally modified. We are focusing on applications in industrial processes, technology treatments, design of new materials and processes and thein implementation to practice.

What do we offer?

  • Testing and developing of inorganic binders, building materials and ceramics
  • Utilization of secondary industrial materials in inorganic technologies
  • Chemical and microstructural chemici analysis of inorganic materials
  • Phase analysis of material in temperature to 1500 °C and relative humidity to 99 %
  • Structural analysis in resolution 1 nm with element and phase microprobe
  • Determination of distribution of particles size from 1 nm to 3 mm
  • Testing of durability, chemical and temperature resistance of inorganic materials
  • Testing of composition and structure of metals and alloys
