DEPARTMENT OF INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS

The research activity of the department is focused before all on intelligent systems, but attention is also paid to systems for specific applications, computer-based systems, interface design and use of multilevel parallelism. The main fields of interest are biometric security systems, wireless networks, security, cryptography, formal specific cation and verification of the design, integration of components into embedded applications, and simulation and prototyping of different configurations.

The department consists of 17 senior researchers and 51 junior researchers. There have been 44 PhD graduates over the past 5 years so far.
